Lawyer Ivailo Burkov has completed his legal studies at ‘St. Kliment Ohridski’ Sofia University in 2006. He has an extensive experience in the media sector, gained while working as a Senior Legal Advisor at BTV Media Group EAD and consequently as a Legal Advisor at the Association of Bulgarian Broadcasters – ABBRO. He knows in detail the work of the State Administration and the procedures for the elaboration of national legislation.

He specializes in the area of Media Law, Corporate Law, Intellectual property rights, Telecommunications, Gambling and Advertising. He has participated in the successful creation and development of various TV and radio programs, as well as some of the most popular news and entertainment websites. Over the years, he has obtained valuable experience in the legal representation on civil and administrative cases.

Completed training in „Leadership Skills for Managers“ at Dale Carnegie Training, Bulgaria.

Guest speaker at the Supreme Bar Council in conducting qualification trainings of lawyers on issues related to media law and advertising.

Member of the Ethics Commission of the National Council for Self-regulation (NCSR).

Excellent command of English, speaks German.
